A Message From Scott
As the business of our city moves forward, we are faced with great economic challenges.
In the days ahead I will work with my fellow Representatives and City Leaders to ensure that Chesapeake is reaching its full potential and that we're creating a healthy, vigorous, growing economy that provides more and better jobs for our citizens.
In addition, I will work towards maintaining the proper balance of government. I recognize that the seat I hold is your seat, and the responsibility it conveys is now ours. The power of our representative system is in your hands. I am only a humbled steward of it.
I pledge to represent all citizens of Chesapeake to the best of my ability.
Chesapeake deserves our best effort and our willingness to believe in ourselves and to believe in our capacity to perform great things, and to believe that together we can make Chesapeake Virginia’s best city in which to live, work, play, raise a family and enjoy nature.
